White mountains

Series of low relief sculptures made from outdated world altases following the profile of the White Mountains. The Whites are a mountain range covering about a quarter of the state of New Hampshire and a small portion of western Maine in the United States. They are part of the northern Appalachian Mountains and the most rugged mountains in New England, ending in Québec and New Brunswick, Canada. The range includes Mount Lafayette (5,249 ft) and Mount Washington (6,288.2 ft).

Work selected in 2017 for Fresh Paint and New Construction, the exhibition of the top promising Canadian students in visual arts by Galerie Art Mûr in Montréal, Québec.
